| Comment | It's a reasonably priced (around $15) Australian Shiraz from South Australia. The label looks like an airline boarding pass and there's a checked luggage tag on top. On the back there's a spoof of an in-flight safety booklet. |

| Comment | A great Australian restaurant and bar in the heart of San Diego. Owned and operated by Australians with an interesting menu. Appetisers are around $8-$12. A great range of wines and some Aussie beers including Coopers and Boags. |

| Comment | Although there are a number of "tourism Australia" items on the menu, this recommendation comes more from the ambience (like sitting in a funky Melbournian restaurant), the variety of the cuisine and the quality of the cooking. The manager has actually spent some time in Australia, and has tried to create something that feels "Australian" rather than something the tourists expect. As well as a bar and restaurant, this venue also has events

| Comment | I've eaten here a few times, and the food is good. It IS Australian. Service could be better and seating somewhat cramped even for New York standards. Read my review A Dash of New York at Eight Mile Creek. |

| Comment | Half of a Yellow Sun Set in Biafra in the 1960s it tells a sad tale of the lives of a handful of people just before and during the Biafran Civil War. I knew a bit about the war - I was in school at the time - but I didn't know much of the details. Although a work of fiction, the novel is based on fact. The author, Chimandanda Ngozi Adiche is young, born in 1978. Her information comes from research and her family memories. The strength of the novel lies in its "emotional truth" - it rings true from the gentle beginning through the horrific war and the sad aftermath. While reading the novel and for days afterwards I felt part of the main characters lives. They were as real to me as people I work with every day. Highly recommended! |

| Comment | After I read We Need to Talk About Kevin I threw it straight into the rubbish bin - not because it isn''t a good piece of literature, but because it was so disturbing. It didn't stay there long. I relented. This book is in my top ten. |

| Comment | O rederd flowers by calling the 24 hour 1800 number. I placed the order around 6:30 am Discovery Bay time. I was quoted $66 and gave my credit card. I was told they'd be delivered that day. The man's name was given to me as Bryant, and I was given a confirmation number. Around 1:00 pm Discovery Bay time a woman who gave her name as Melissa, phoned me. She said she was from the florists'. She was extremely aggressive and accused me of giving the phone man the wrong price. I said, "but he gave ME the price, how would I know your prices???". She then went on to say it was at least $20 more than that and it was now too late to deliver that day. I said I could get other types of flowers but "Melissa" said no. She said it was MY choice not to send them. That I could pay another $20 or get nothing! I told her I'd complain to the Better Business Bureau etc. Her response - YOU do that and we'll tell your company you tried to get the wrong price! I emailed blossom florists yesterday. So far, no reply!

| Comment | We stayed here a week and would definitely return. It is right on Robson Street and close to everything. Great restaurants all around and fabulous shopping. We paid C$70 a night. Each room is HUGE - bedroom, bathroom, lounge and kitchen. There is also a pull out sofa. It is not upscale and a little worn down but it has fabulous location. NOTE: pack your own hairdryer! |

| Comment | It's a little hotel on the left bank - perfectly located down the street from Odeon Met station. Easy walk to Notre Dame and the Latin Quarter. I'll probably stay there all the time now. I don't think they have a web-site but they must have an email. The place was called Petit Trianon and located at : 2 Rue de l'Ancienne Comédie Paris 75006, France I was there over Christmas/New Year and it only cost $50EUR a night. It's a little spartan but ideal for budget conscious couples. I should warn you that I like to find the cheapest place when I go to a city - but also look for location and comfort. |

| Comment | My rating is based almost entirely on a value for money proposition. The changes are largely cosmetic and although good do not justify a price-tag of more than $750AUD for the ultimate edition. I got the sense Microsoft is trying hard to catch up with Apple Mac in the area of user interface. After 5 development years I think the product falls short. I would not recommend switching just now unless money is no object. |

| Comment | The DVD player I have been using without a problem for 3 years now is the Philips DVD727 Multi Region DVD Player. They vary from $59 on amazon to $140 elsewhere. I hate to promote products to much on here but it will do the following: - Plays All Regions 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 Region discs - Progressive Scan - Plays PAL discs on any NTSC TV - Plays REA/RCE Discs - Easy selection of regions from Remote Control - Plays DVD, Video CD, SVCD, DVD+RW, CD, CDR, JPEG Photo CDs It also has component output for High Def TVs. Some stores will unlock these DVD players before they are shipped to you. If not you will need to unlock the DVD player by performing one of the following(depending on the model): By default it only plays region 1 DVDs. A) 1. Turn on the player. 2. Open the tray. 3. Press the following sequence on the remote: 7 8 9 OK 0 4. The number 0 will appear on the lower left side of your screen. 5. Your player is now region free. B) 1. Turn on the player. 2. Open the tray. 3. Press the following sequence on the remote: 9 9 9 9 0 4. The number 0 will appear on the lower left side of your screen. 5. Your player is now region free. The DVD727 DVD plays PAL DVDs for sure. Any questions let me know. One last thing. Those of you who have laptop/PC DVDs and would like to switch between regions without locking your Laptop/PC DVD player to one region I suggest this software. http://www.dvdidle.com/dvd-region-free.htm I have had this running for a few years now and it works perfectly. I'm not sure the $39.95 is worth it, but I guess I'm still trialing it before I buy it ;-) |

| Comment | These are a great way to get a foot in the door with a language. They are not cheap, but if there were a Swedish 2 course, I would gladly pay. Unfortunately Swedish only has course 1, but the big languages have extensive courses over many levels. The format has been very thoughtfully planned to introduce you to the most commonly used words and structures, in as natuaral a way as possible. It is structured around an amusing dialogue between a foreign man and a local woman, so by the end you should be able to pick up girls in the language of your choice! This keeps interest up and keeps the mood light as we are always keen to see how he progresses with the girl... |

| Comment | We bought a Hitachi DVD Cam a few months back and love it. It doesnt use the high 8 tapes but mini dvd's. Mike puts the movies on the computer and makes little stories to our movies. We have friends that have the same camera and they love it. Its also small enough to put in the suitcase and carry around. We also have a Sony video camera, but have had an endless lot of trouble with the battery not keeping its charge. Personally, we would not buy anything Sony anymore. Our Sony digital camera has the same problem with the battery. Rachel

| Comment | It is great. We are able to send video's via email, great still shots, and an easy camera to operate. I wouldn't trade it for the world, and there has not been more than 3 days apart, that I don't use it. Highly recommend it. Adele |

| Comment | From their website (and it's all true) Fees Our standard transfer fee is just A$15. Australian banks are charging up to A$35 and banks in the UK are charging around £30 (approximately A$70). Rates Forget the fee, the main saving is in the OzForex exchange rates. Before you make a transfer, at least check our rates and then compare these against your bank's rates. Depending on the size of the transfer, we can normally save you hundreds of dollars and in many cases, thousands of dollars!Sydney |
